  • Melissa Quick

    Steve Quick Jeweler

Melissa is the President of Steve Quick Jeweler in Chicago. They are a designer focused, full-service retail jeweler in Chicago's upscale Lincoln Park neighborhood, and they have been creating one-of-a-kind jewelry for Chicagoans since 1986. Their relaxing showroom is bursting with jewelry and gems collected from around the world.

In 2019 they embared on a major transition, consolidating three stores into one and investing heavily in an online presence, with a goal of creating a stronger offline/online experience that creates foot traffic for the store, and investing in continued evolution of their instore experience to meet changing consumer expectations of retail.

They are serious about responsibility and transparent supply chains. As Melissa says, "Jewelry is a notoriously difficult product category for those of us interested in responsible sourcing and supply chains. Gems, minerals, and metals are produced all over the world - most of them by artisanal miners working in isolated and far-flung communities. We want to identify the supply chains for our jewelry as much as possible - even if it means traveling to Africa (which Melissa did in 2018) or Asia to establish relationships with the people at the beginning of your jewelry's journey."

Known in the community for their support of social causes, welcoming and fun vibe, and creative store windows, Steve Quick Jeweler is a destination store with a loyal customer base.
